Thursday Challenge is a place for photographic fun and learning. A theme is announced on this site each week.

Week #1

Hapuna Beach

This is my favorite photo which was taken recently while my husband and I are beach hopping on the other side of the island. Definitely we will come back in this beach resort where everybody enjoys the swimming, sun bathing, snorkeling or simply by just walking on the shore in this white sand beach. I can't wait to wear my new bathing suit that my husband bought me last Christmas day and get another kiss from the sun for my skin!

Wardrobe Wednesday: Fuchsia

Looking fabulous in a new outfit? Post it on Wardrobe Wednesday. See a strangely dressed person on the street? Snap a photo and post it (be kind about identity, please). Are you stalking a new dress at the mall? Photograph the mannequin and load it up! Celebrate funky socks, ratty sweats and ball gowns with equal affection.

Presenting my fuchsia dress! I wore this dress. I wrote in my previous post that I am loving dresses. Anywhere I go, I made it a point that my outfit for the day will be something dress. I changed my whole wardrobe! Before, when I was in high school and college, I was contented wearing shirt and long pants. Now, I am loving to wear short shorts and dresses!

Here Comes The Bride!

A very good friend of mine is planning to get married by the end of the month next year. I am so excited! They will finally tie the knot after almost four long years they have been together. They have been consulting about their wedding details. I talked to both of them every other day. I want to be part of their upcoming wedding and so I decided to book my airline ticket probably early next year to attend and witness their wedding. I just can't wait anymore!

Saving and planning is part of their agenda. Their taking it slow and I like the way they keep things organized. I wonder what help I could give them since I am not around to help them organize every detail for their upcoming wedding. They're like a family to me, the groom is my best friend and the bride is my very good friend. I would like for them to have a nice wedding accessories for their reception. It will be a colorful and full of fun wedding. I bet they will both love it. It will be a wonderful gift they will have. I want the best for them - best wishes for them!

Ruby Tuesday: Red Shirt

I was waiting for my hubby to catch a fish that day but no luck. We didn't wait that long to catch a fish. I was sitting at the lava rocks created by the volcano eruption facing the Hilo Bay. There were lots of people who are waiting for their first catch. Fishing may be their hobby but not me.

My Christmas Gift!

Hello bloggers! How are you doing? How did you spend your Christmas? I know that some of you have been busy preparing food for Christmas dinner and opening gifts from family and friends. As for me, we did good celebrating our Christmas. My husband and I went to Waikoloa Beach Resort, where Queen's Marketplace and Kings Shops is located. It feels like we were just dating together while checking some of the nice stores.

As for my Christmas gift this year, I couldn't be happier! I got what I have been dreaming for quite sometime now. My husband bought me the Louis Vuitton handbag I have been eyeing over the internet and now I own it! I just love the monogram design logos of my new handbag. I am so blessed and lucky. I thank God for the wonderful blessings that He gave to us. It was a wonderful year full of love, happiness and blessings.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered!

Like most of the people all over the world, all I want is to travel and see the world. There are lots of things I wanted to see, that I dream about and plan to go to whenever I can. I love to travel with my husband. My husband and I are just alike. We cannot stand being in one place for a very long time. Since we already know that North Dakota has the harsh winter, we decided to go on a vacation in Hawaii.

Along Waikiki Beach

We love everything about Hawaii. The tropical weather all year round, the people are nice, the places and the beach! Where ever we go, we always make sure that we buy postcard to send to our family and friends. We want them to know that we are always thinking of them while we are enjoying the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Hawaii has eight beautiful islands and would love to visit all of them. So far, we visited the island of Kauai, Oahu and Hawaii's Big Island. Visiting the islands of Molokai, Maui and Lanai are still on the list and we will carefully plan on it. Hawaii is my favorite vacation spot. Eye-love it!

Thursday Challenge: Light

Thursday Challenge is a place for photographic fun and learning. A theme is announced on this site each week.

My sister and her friends (from high school) celebrated their Christmas party somewhere in town. It was like a gathering or a reunion. They had fun that night. It was full of fun filled with so much laughter and sharing stories until dawn. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

You Are Christmas Eve

You are a patient person, and you would agree
that anticipation is sometimes better than the main event.

There's something magical about
the night before Christmas - when it feels like anything could happen!

You are a somewhat quiet and spiritual person.
You need a lot of alone time to process what's going on around you.

You are optimistic and idealistic.
You can't help but feel like things are going to work out.

Ruby Tuesday: Flower

This red tropical flower caught my attention while my husband and I are walking in the park. I don't know exactly what's the name of this flower. The color and the petals of this flower is beautiful. The leaves look like a banana leaves, only it's a small version. Have a happy Tuesday!

Note: You are more than welcome to tell me what is the name of this flower. Thanks!

Last Minute Shopping!

Are you done with your Christmas shopping yet? I know some people are still doing their last minute shopping for their loved ones and friends. Gosh! The malls and other stores here in Hawaii are full and you can barely find a space where to park. Parking space is hard to find no matter what time of the day you go. It's just a nightmare! The stocks are easily sold out and everybody wants to get ahead of you to finish their own last minute shopping.

That is why, I find online shopping the convenient way to shop when it comes to Holidays. I don't have to rush myself nor wait too long in the counter to pay my things. I don't have to argue with my husband who's patiently waiting for me while I am shopping. I should give him a new Sony LCD Television as my Christmas gift so he can enjoy watching his favorite shows while relaxing. My younger sister will be graduating on March 2010 and I am already thinking what would be the best gift I could give to her since I cannot attend her high school graduation. What a shame! Maybe a nice mini laptop would be a great gift since she will be using it in college. I bet she will love it!

Since I didn't get anything for myself this Christmas, I would be happy to own a new iPod Nano 16GB that I can use for my workout and for my running exercise. I always get jealous to those people who have their own iPod with them while their running in the park. I bet it would be easy for me to finish my goal because I am inspired to listen to the music I love while I am running. I am really serious on reaching my weight goal after the Holidays.

Protect Your Eyes

I love sunglasses! Who doesn't? It protects my eyes from the ultraviolet rays from the sun and protects me from giving me headaches when the sun is too hot to bear. I recently collect sunglasses and I just love it. I can use my sunglasses any day I want it with so much ease and I am comfortable wearing them any time of the day. Sunglasses are one of my favorite accessories. I can't leave the house without it. It is part of my life! I love wearing it!

Many people find direct sunlight too bright for comfort. During outdoor activities, the human eye can receive more light than usual that's why, health care professionals recommend eye protection whenever outside to protect our eyes from ultraviolet radiation from the sun and blue light, which can cause several eye problems. Eye protectors can improve visual comfort and visual clarity by protecting my eyes from glare. I just wish I can afford some nice and branded sunglasses. I think I will look good on it. There are so many fashionable sunglasses out in the market today. It is up to the people how they use it. I bet they will look good on it too.

How Much Do You Love the Holidays?

You Love the Holidays

You enjoy every aspect of the holidays, but you don't go overboard.
You believe that it's important to relax this time of year.

You get into the holiday spirt, and you enjoy every activity -
from baking cookies to shopping for personalized gifts.

That being said, the holidays are a lot of work.
You're both happy to see them come and happy to see them go.

You're a bit of a traditionalist.
You think the holidays start too soon and are a bit too commercial.
You wish that people understood the true meaning of the season.
