Away and Alone

Today marked the 4th day of me being sad. It feels lonely when the husband isn't around to comfort my loneliness but I'm fighting it. Hubby is on a business trip. I know he'll be back and I always tell myself and friends that he needs the vacation for himself. I want him to enjoy first and foremost.

This is the first time that my husband is too far from me but he have to take this special trip. He will see his sister, brother-in-law and his brothers down in Kentucky. They will all meet at his son's place. He was talking to me on the phone telling me that they're enjoying fishing. It is good to know that he's having a good time with his siblings.

Family Time

It's a family time today! Right at this moment, we're waiting for Theresa and Sierra to come to our house. We will eat breakfast before we head to the zoo. My husband cooked flaky biscuit, sausage and egg with gravy! Today will be a fun day. See y'all later!

Summer Bummer

My friend from Texas sent me a picture message few hours ago and I got jealous with what she's wearing down south. Alright, just a little bit jealous! The photo above shows that she's enjoying the weather down south while I am still in my jeans, shirt and jacket (or sometimes scrubs when at work). I can't help but smile and sent her a message telling her that I am still wearing my work clothes. She said it's 83 degrees where she at while our temperature here is 49 degrees. Oh, I cannot wait for the summer time here!
