Addicted To Facebook?

Do you have a Facebook account? This is the reason why I am sometimes not been updating my blog for how many days. I have been to Facebook lately and I am hooked with their games - Scrabble. I have my friends there too. I must admit that I nearly abandoned some social networking websites but never ever will I abandon my blogging career (if there's any) because I still love to blog and share with you everything.

I hope I am still in your blog roll. I promise that if I get back to my senses, I will visit your blog, drop EC and leave some comments to your post. Thank you for my readers who supported me all the time. You know who you are girls! I owe you big time already. So, just bear with me for the moment.

10 Warning Signs That You May Be Addicted To Facebook:

1. Facebook is your home page.

2. You update your status more than twice a day.

3. You have over 500 "friends" half of whom you've never actually met.

4. As soon as you step away from your computer you're on FB on your phone.

5. You are a FB stalker. You qualify as a FB stalker if you

a) click on someone's profile more than once a day even if they haven't messaged or tagged you in a photo.

b) have dragged and dropped more than 3 FB photos (not from your own profile)

c) actually go to a place mentioned on someone's page in hopes of seeing them in real life...creepy!

6. You change your profile picture more than a 12-year=old girl.

7. You have checked your FB page while reading this article.

8. You clean up your "wall" so it looks like you spend less time on FB.

9. You are a member of more than 10 groups and respond to every event invitation "attending" even if you have no intention of going.

10. You change your relationship status just to mess with people.

The 10 warnings signs were according to Tara Stiles. I got it from Yahoo News. Why I joined Facebook? It is easier to access than any other social networking websites. So, if you have a Facebook account, do add me and let's meet from there. Thank you!

It Is Good To Be Back!

Yes! I am finally back from blogging. I was really bored. I keep on thinking what's happening with my online friends. I can't even visit my friend's blog nor write my own blog. But now I am back. It will take time to visit all your blogs but I promise that I will be patient enough to read all your post.

What did I do during the time I was gone? Well, I stayed home for almost 2 weeks. I watched movies which I never expected I can watch them. I got my flu shot together with my husband. My husband and I attended a Christmas potluck in town. Thank you for the support of my husband who can't stand looking at me being bored. Now, I got my new ISP (internet service provider) and it is better than my first internet service provider. It is faster and reliable. I can do anything with it. Now, I don't have to worry about what's going on to the internet world because they are just a click away from my fingers. Thank you for visiting my blog even if I wasn't around for almost 2 weeks (December 8 to December 19). I know some of you have been patiently visiting my blog to drop entrecard (EC) and now, I will return the favor. Thank you once again!

No Longer in Service

Today, the 8th of December, my internet service will no longer be active together with cellular phone. This means to say that I will be absent for a few days blogging and visiting your blog. It will not take a long time for me to be away. I just need to secure another internet service for me to continue blogging and doing my thing over the internet. Of course, internet is one of the ways I communicate with my family back home and my friends online. I wish it will not take too many days before I will be active again here.

For now, I am leaving you a message so you will know about the notice. But I will be back. I promise to visit your blog as soon as my internet service is active again. I will take time to drop you an EC and read your blogs when I get back. When I get back, I will have my new internet service provider, a new phone and a new phone number. Thank you very much and happy blogging!

Shopping Made Easy and Safe

When I started my job as a receptionist last August 1st, all my time was focused at work. I work full-time and for 2 months and 15 days working, I don't even remember when was the last time I did shopping. Tell me who doesn't love to shop at all? I know that everyone of us, especially the women loves to shop anywhere no matter what time of the day it is. I myself loves to shop too. I just can't help it. I have this feeling that I could not sleep at all if I can't buy what I want. But I am not a big time spender. I know what I want and what to buy. With today's economy, everyone should know how much they will spend and whom to trust with their money especially when making purchases online.

Online shopping is the process that consumers go through to purchase products or services over the internet. It is a type of electronic commerce used for business-to-business and business-to-consumer transactions. With the rising fuel costs today, it's one of the ways to save time and gas rather than driving many miles and go to mall to do some shopping. In recent years, online shopping has become popular that caters to the middle and upper class, it has evolved with the growth of technology. And in order to shop online, one must be able to have access to a computer and credit/debit cards are ready to shop. But how do you know whom to trust when making purchases online?

Buysafe_350x400__2

Being Discreet

I think it has been months now since I started being invisible in my Yahoo Messenger account. Well, I have been always invisible when my mood says so. Its just that, I wanted to keep up with all my chat mates - my friends back home, my friends online and some nuisance chatters one at a time, not having many windows to chat with. I sometimes joined conference when all my friends are online and there's juicy topic to talk about. I am just glad how the technology makes it so easy to communicate with each other. It was like we are facing each other face-to-face and having a simple coffee break from the coffee shop. How lovely to think that after all our busy day from work and activities, we still manage to talk about anything - life, love, work, movies, music, food, clothes and everything that is interesting to talk about. Life is just amazing!

My 100th Post

I started blogging since the first day of May 2008. I thought blogging is something that would make me bored, restless and feel jaded. But I was wrong! The moment I have submitted my 1st post until to my 100th post, I didn't know that I was enjoying that much! I felt this is my own personal diary. I found my comfort zone blogging here.

When I was a kid, I don’t think I have any passion for writing. All I did was play and just be a happy little kid. Everything seems ordinary for me. I go to school, learn how to write and read, make friends and aim for good grades. That’s it! Nothing special. I felt like I don’t have any special talents or skills at all, except that I do a little bit well in school. As I grew older, everything seems normal to me. I know I should be the one discovering my own self, my own talents and skills. But it seems like I was engaged to another activity - play! I was really good at it. Until now, I can still beat my playmates to any games we played.

Now, everything seems different. My eagerness for writing something made me delighted. It’s like I am ready to share anything to the world - my happiness, interest, hobbies, dreams, fun trips and travel. This is my world and I am sharing everything here.

I Signed Up at Social Spark!

Finally, SocialSpark is here! It has been a while since I started internet blogging. I can really say that I enjoyed every bit of it. I think, it has been a part of my everyday life. I first joined PayPerPost for a money-making opportunity. A good friend of mine introduced me to another website where I can still grab the chance to get other opportunities from other sources, the SocialSpark!

Two months ago, I started internet blogging and I found myself hooked to this craze around the world. At first, when I submitted my blog to SocialSpark, I was not approved. I got an e-mail from them telling me that they are unable to approve my blog. I have mixed emotions then. I don't know what I did for them not to approve my blog. I was really devastated and frustrated. Of course, I am so sad too. I even deactivated my account with them. So, I asked help from my friends who's been a member of SocialSpark. I was carefully listening and very meticulous getting idea, clues and even put them in writing so I will not forget every bit of it. Then submitted my blog for the second time.

I waited for another month and made my blog creative and created labels for easy-to-access on my blog. I even changed the setting of my blog because it is not being indexed by search engines. I didn't lose hope the second time they were unable to approved my blog. I made the possible changes, I am still positive of being approved someday. I knew in my mind and heart I will get their approval for the third time I am going to submit my blog at SocialSpark. I knew I will get the victory I have been wanting because I know in myself that I really want this - Be a proud member of SocialSpark!

Above, is the screen shot of a SocialSpark website. You can grab a lot of opportunities here. Although at first, I admit that I have encountered a lot of difficulties navigating the website but with the help of the menu where there's Help Menu with frequently asked questions to assist bloggers and advertisers in their inquiries. It is really useful and very friendly to answer all inquiries. You can even send them messages for additional informations. I find it very interesting and helpful as a newbie here.

Post Review

Internet blogging is one of the modern craze right now. Some of my friends turned out to be poetic and write about their thoughts, own experiences and share everything while putting them all in writing. My third post from PPP is to review a post from a fellow blogger, http://joy-godsgrace.blogspot.com/. It caught my interest in reviewing her posts. She's a mother of two little boys and a good wife to her husband. I couldn't believe it to my amazement that a wife and a mother are hooked in this kind of internet blogging. I don't know how she manages her time doing all the household chores, taking care of her two little boys, cook and prepare their meals and yet, she still manage to look fabulous and can share her thoughts in blogging.

As I view her blog site and read all her posts, I was really surprised that JOY have posted many things and made her site colorful and wonderful compared to mine. I have fun reading all her post as it lead my faith to God much stronger and that it enlightens my whole personality. I would like to say thank you for including God's scriptures as it made my day. I would surely come back and read your new post. Thanks for sharing! As for me, blogging was my comfort zone whenever I feel bored, think of something interesting and I can write everything I have experienced. This is what I enjoy and I am having fun everyday of my life.

I signed up for PayPerPost!

It was April 19, 2008 when a friend from California, Roche sent me a private message to let me know how she enjoys blogging. She noticed in my other website that I love to write just about anything I do, every travels I have been to and just something to talk about and write. She told me that she has been a member of payperpost and that she enjoys writing and earning from PPP. I asked her what is PPP? I really have no idea what is she talking about nor any idea what she's trying to tell me at first. So she gave me the website of payperpost and read something about it and told me to start writing a blog.

I have been writing essays since I was in High School and College but that was just a school requirement. Nevertheless, I have been still writing but I put them in my mind, not in paper, not in MS word and definitely not in a tissue paper but I put them all in my memory. Writing was my comfort zone. I can write anything I want, my experiences, about my family, my love life, my friends and all my daily activities that I can share and put them all in writing. I just love what I am doing.

Last Monday, June 16, I signed up for PPP and got approved the next day, Tuesday, June 17. What a relief! I am finally a proud member of payperpost! I couldn't believe it at first and never thought it was really fast for them to approved me. A bunch of thank you to payperpost! Now, I will be more inspired to do my writing job because I will be working with PPP in which I will get a monetary reward and that I can earn in my own way. I will surely have a lot of wonderful experience I can get from them and it would be more fun to write.
