Do You Spread Holiday Cheer?

You Spread a Lot of Holiday Cheer

During the holidays,
you represent the true spirit of Christmas.

You give freely, and you enjoy
this special time of the year.

There's a good chance that you spread cheer
every time of the year...
not just during the holidays.

You're kind, upbeat, and generous.
Anyone who crosses your path is lucky.

Works of the Wheat

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Wheat Food Council. All opinions are 100% mine.

I put my husband and I for a diet challenge. Every time we go to the grocery store, we always read the nutrition information of every food we put in our cart. We also make sure that we get wheat bread instead of getting the white bread. I always know that wheat bread is better than white bread.

How Wheat Works is an interactive, online multimedia program that delivers a farm-to-fork education about wheat. The website will give a better understanding of its nutritional value. Wheat is the most-consumed grain in United States. The wheat goes through an amazing journey until it is served in our plate. This is a fun-loving game that invites all participants to join the program to plant, harvest, mill, bake and virtually eat your own harvest of wheat. Sounds like fun rather than just farming alone.

I am up for this fun game! What about you? The Wheat Foods Council believed that teaching people the right nutrition on how a whole or enriched grain food comes to shed new light on wheat nutrition. This will enlighten people on their food choices. They can live smart and happy. For each participant, the Council will donate two pounds of flour up to 90,000 pounds to Operation Homefront - a non-profit that provides assistance to the needy U.S. troops and their own families. Come join the fun and visit How Wheat Works website, register and experience how wheat works.

Mellow Yellow Monday: Bougainvillea

MellowYellowMondayBadge

This bougainvillea flowers looks color yellow to me but there's a little dash of orange color. Anyway, I am actually getting my husband in the picture while I was hiding in the bushes to take a photo.

How Clean Is Your Water?

I recently browse the Yahoo News and read about Cities With Best and Worst Tap Water. How well do you know that your water from the faucet is safe to drink? The answer very much depends on where you live. You can click this link so you will know if your city has the best or worst tap water.

Cities with the best water:

  1. Arlington, TX
  2. Providence, RI
  3. Fort Worth, TX

  5. Boston, MA
  6. Honolulu, HI
  7. Austin, TX

Cities with the worst water:

Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday

What are the rules? On any Sunday you can post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that hasn’t been tweaked or altered in any way (cropping is OK). In other words Straight Out Of the Camera. You can also link back to Murrieta365. Happy Sunday!

The photo was taken last Friday when we went to the Kohala coast. We saw 3 surfers waiting for the big waves and surf their way all the way to the shore until the big waves are gone. It is really cool watching them.
