Signs of Spring

It has been two weeks now since the start of the Spring that I had been whining and looking for signs of real spring. I woke up this morning and my husband said that spring is starting to show. He saw about five to ten robins in our backyard and thousands of snow geese flying headed north. Though there's still some snow, we have high hopes that it will melt soon. 

Spring is peeking and it won't be long now that we see some trees starting to bloom, colorful flowers to add beauty and critters will come from hibernation. The cabin fever should stop now and we can finally go outside without freezing to death. We have been waiting for this day, and it will be our moment to have a good time and celebrate spring season!

Where is Spring?

Last Sunday, March 20th is the first day of Spring. But I couldn't see any sign of spring around me. No robins flying and chirping around, no flowers and trees blooming. Then yesterday, we had the unpleasant snowstorm. They talked about 6 to 12 inches but in reality, we got more than 12 inches. 

When we were in Texas, we can see trees such as bradford pear in bloom even before the calendar says it's spring. The seasons of winter and spring are clashing. Winter wants to stay longer and I think it's time to say goodbye to thick clothes and snow boots. 

Spring Break!

It's the time of the year where everyone is on Spring Break vacation. Get a little splash on the beach, sun-bathing, get a little sun-kissed and for some, enjoying a one-week break from school. How cool is that? So, who's ready for the Spring? I am!

Spring time officially started last March 21st. Before that, some trees and flowers are already blooming and adds color to the environment. It is really nice to see when you see things around you back to life just like the flowers and trees. Birds keep on chirping and it sounded music to my ear. Spring is finally here. I am hoping for more wonderful sunshine to enjoy together with my husband. Oh I love Spring!
