My Mother's Birthday Card

My mother who is living in the Philippines made my birthday extra special. She did not forget to send me a birthday card on my birthday. The messages in the card made me cry because I know it means so much between us. Thanks Mom for loving me!

For my birthday last September 29, I am blessed with so much birthday gifts. I love receiving gifts, don't you? My friends are so good to me and I am so blessed for having them in my life. Thank you, God for all the nice friends around me. Thank you!

What Do You Want?...

... is the question that stuck on my mind when my husband asked me "What do you want for your birthday?" I will turn 27 tomorrow and until now, I still cannot think of anything I want for my birthday. I was speechless! I don't know what I want on my birthday.

Honestly, I don't want any material gifts on my birthday because I believe that I can still get them on other occasions like Christmas and Anniversaries. Plus, I can buy what I need or what I want because I am earning money from work. I just want to simply celebrate my birthday with my loving husband. Maybe a dinner in a nice restaurant, a short trip where we can enjoy the place together or watch a movie.

Early Birthday Gift

In my previous post, I showed you my new phone. It was actually a birthday gift for myself. I bought me a new cellphone that I could use anywhere we go. I am still anxious what birthday gift I could get from my husband. Hopefully, those two things in my wish list. I just can't wait for September 29!

Today, I got a brown envelope from the mailbox from a friend in California, Roche . An early birthday gift for me! I opened the brown envelope and saw two things inside of it. A birthday card and the wrapped gift. I still don't know what's inside of it because I will wait on the day of my birthday to open it. The other side of me keeps telling me to open it and the "patient" side of me keeps telling me to wait until my birthday. Oh well, no matter what day I open my gifts, it is still my birthday gift! Thanks girl for the card and the gift!

Greetings from Australia!

Am I just lucky today or loved? I know that my birthday had passed already and I am 26-year-old fabulous woman for 39 days now. How cool can that be? I wasn't really expecting gifts on the day of my birthday but a simple birthday greetings will be highly appreciated. I just want to be remembered on my special day and be loved by my family and friends.

As Winn enter the messy house holding our mails, he told me that I got a letter from Australia. I didn't thought any second to know who sent me a letter because I only know one friend from there. It was a birthday card from Eva Marie. Inside was a wonderful message and I got a silver heart necklace. I wanted to thank you for the birthday card and silver necklace girl. Thank you for the friendship.

More Birthday Presents

I know, my birthday is up! But birthday presents are keep on coming. Every week just after I celebrated my 26th birthday. It was fun. There's special delivery from UPS, FedEx or simply from the US postal office. I think the postmaster already know me and my name already as they keep coming back every week to give my package. My husband was amazed too!

I didn't imagine I will get more birthday presents after my birthday. I thank all my friends who's very thoughtful to send me something for my birthday. Thank you very much! You are highly appreciated.

A Birthday Card From My Sister

It has been 1 month ago since I celebrated my 26th birthday. I had to work that day. My husband surprised me with colorful flowers and triple chocolate-coffee ice cream. I must say that my birthday celebration went well even I am working that day. What surprises me was the birthday card that my sister - Haide sent me. I know it has been long overdue for the day of my birthday but the thought of sending me a birthday greeting card does count as she expressed how she missed me terribly.

Oh how I miss my sister so much, my mother and my younger sister. Since my father passed away 5 years ago, we have been helping each other to be strong and to celebrate our life as a wonderful family together. Here's the birthday message that my sister sent me:
