A New House

If we just have enough money to get a contractor to do it all from the foundation to finishing. That would be nice!

I Am Tired!

After spending my whole time cleaning our house, I have been feeling restless and helpless. I was thinking to take a break this time since I am already finished cleaning and making things organized in our kitchen. It was such a relief when everything you see is clean and arranged. I felt like I did a very good job. I cleaned the refrigerator, the cabinets, coffee maker, toaster, stove and oven, washed the dishes and utensils and even clean the microwave. Groceries are organized too and in proper places.

For now, I don't have to worry about a messy kitchen and a dirty bathroom. They are all clean and that's the first thing I would ever clean in our house. Now that everything is in order, let me watch movies and relax. Happy blogging!

My Old Kentucky Home

We are home at last! After 3 months of being away and have lived in North Dakota was fun. I got a job plus we are enjoying the great summer up there. We got home last night around 7:38 PM. My husband and I was tired and exhausted from the long drive. It took us 2 days and 1 night to get back in our old house here in KY. We enjoyed the long drive as we always do when we go for a short or long road trip. I am glad and thanked God that we got home safe. We didn't stay up late last night. We retired for the night as soon as we unloaded our things from the truck. We missed our king size bed.

As we got up this morning, we checked the whole house inside and out. It was so depressing! It feels like our house sits in a jungle. A haunted house as I may say, it is dusty and empty. The grasses are pretty scary tall. It needs some mowing. For 3 months that we have been away, I felt like I wasn't feeling at home and my depression strikes. It sure needs some general cleaning. I need to help Winn mow the grass too. Right now, let me take a moment to our old Kentucky home.

Where's My Walis Tambo?

Ok, I know I am trying to be a neat-freak here. But I hate using other brooms for cleaning and sweeping the floor except for the great help of "walis tambo" or "silhig lanot". Come on, who doesn't? Our Vegetable Garden

Early in the morning last week, my hubby told me to get my camera and take a picture of him and his vegetable garden. I was surprised! He seldom wants his picture to be taken. It was February of 2008 when my husband started plowing the soil on the vacant side of our lot. He took advantage of the soft soil and prepared for planting the vegetables. The rain helped him a lot to make the soil soft and its easy for him to plow. He worked all day to make a beautiful vegetable garden. He planted corns, potatoes, beans, peas, cabbages, spring onions, watermelons, squash, cucumber, lettuce, bell peppers, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, cantelopue, pumpkins, sunflowers and carrots. We already harvested some of the vegetables from his garden. We are just happy and enjoyed eating the fresh vegetables.
