Father and Son

I know it has been 6 days since the celebration of Father's Day. That made me think that it has been 7 years since my father passed away and stopped celebrating Father's Day. As you all noticed, I even forgot to post something about Father's Day in my blog as I always do on Mother's Day. I know, I am bad but just thinking about it makes me really sad. For sure, my tears will start falling as I can't help it but remember my own father. I miss him so much!

As I was busy doing some errands at work today, I saw these campers on the swing having their own "father and son" moment. I just couldn't let it passed without taking a picture of them. It is just wonderful! And that made me miss my father so much!

A Quick Hello

I know it's been a while since I posted something in this blog. I am not talking about the paid-posts but the interim post I usually have here. When you have a job, you get busy and you have so much in your plate that is too much to handle. I, myself witnessed the same thing to my good friends. Some bloggers abandoned their blogs because they got no time to update their own blogs. I can't even remember when was the last time I did EC dropping. I owe you guys a lot of visit. It takes a lot of time to do the thing but I know for sure I will get there.

It's really getting busy around my workplace. I have a lot of things that I want to accomplish everyday and I am still waiting for the right time to find a lot of time to work on my three blogs. I will be writing new updates and definitely go back to earning money online. But I can do all these things in the winter time where I have all my free time to everything. Six months work and six months vacation, who can beat that?

The Modern Furniture

Don't you just love it when you have new and nice furniture at home? I do! I mean who doesn't love it? I guess everybody does! I know the feeling when a couple or a family gather together and go to a furniture store and find the best furniture they could ever want. My husband and I did some furniture shopping and we make sure that we choose the best one. Though we found what we really liked, our furniture shopping adventures goes on. We did not stop with one furniture store; we keep going to find the right one.

Two months ago, our friends moved to Phoenix and they gave us their dining table and Dining Chairs to us. They couldn't bring it with them because it's too heavy to haul and will add extra pounds on shipping cost. They have no choice but to give it away. The dining set still look good to me but they said it has a sentimental value. I know it is hard for them to give it away that easy but they have no choice but to leave it here. I made sure that we will take good care of all the things they gave us. We are thankful that they gave the dining set to us.

My friends always tell me that I am the sweetest friend they have. Of course that makes me blush! No matter what occasion it will be, I never forget about them. I always remember the date of their birthdays and send them a birthday card. It's the thought that counts. I love it when I make them smile and let them feel that they are special to me. The best feeling of happiness is when they are happy because I made somebody else happy and that's good enough for me.

And when Christmas season will come, I make sure that my personalized Christmas cards are ready to be sent out before clock strikes on Christmas day. It makes me happy when all of my friends got their Christmas cards on time. The contentment and happiness is there in my heart because I know, they appreciate the little things I do for them. It's a happy feeling! I always bear in mind that the happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything. Good friends are there when they needed them the most and bring out the best within them.

Me and Work

I have been working as a receptionist since August 2008. I do well in my job but sometimes I complain too. I love it when I give my service to the people and make them happy. But sometimes, I just can't handle grouchy, mean or just plain ornery people. They can really make my day. It will take time to compose myself back and serve other people. But that wasn't too much of a big deal for me. I'm trying to be nice as much as possible and understand other people's behavior. Maybe, they grew up to be just like that (to be rude, mean and grouchy) and some people are just born to be happy and nice.

We cannot please everybody and we always try to accommodate them to the best of our ability. I just feel like, I need a break (sometimes). Wait, did I say break? My husband said, "What are you talking about? You just got off a six months break!" Oh yeah, I forgot about that - our winter vacation in Hawaii for three months and spent the remaining three months winter vacation in Texas-Kentucky-Mississippi-Louisiana. I have to work a while first, then I will get back my six months break. I guess, I have to stop whining then and get back to work!
