What Do You Want?...

... is the question that stuck on my mind when my husband asked me "What do you want for your birthday?" I will turn 27 tomorrow and until now, I still cannot think of anything I want for my birthday. I was speechless! I don't know what I want on my birthday.

Honestly, I don't want any material gifts on my birthday because I believe that I can still get them on other occasions like Christmas and Anniversaries. Plus, I can buy what I need or what I want because I am earning money from work. I just want to simply celebrate my birthday with my loving husband. Maybe a dinner in a nice restaurant, a short trip where we can enjoy the place together or watch a movie.

Travel Safe!

My husband and I loves to travel a lot when we have time and greens to support the expenses. We can just pack our clothes and off we go! Booking a flight or a hotel can be easy because there's a lot of good deals going on especially when we travel with baby. We don't want to spoil our trip for some bad lucks on our way.

I Love My Hair!

It's always been a struggle for me to get a haircut. My husband is my number 1 fan! He loves my long-shinny-black hair and he doesn't want to cut it short. Its been days since I am contemplating getting a new haircut and finally today, I got my hair done at Regis Beauty Salon. I love to emphasize the layers of my hair. I should be getting a flat iron very soon to help my layered hair stand out all the time.

Early Birthday Gift

In my previous post, I showed you my new phone. It was actually a birthday gift for myself. I bought me a new cellphone that I could use anywhere we go. I am still anxious what birthday gift I could get from my husband. Hopefully, those two things in my wish list. I just can't wait for September 29!

Today, I got a brown envelope from the mailbox from a friend in California, Roche . An early birthday gift for me! I opened the brown envelope and saw two things inside of it. A birthday card and the wrapped gift. I still don't know what's inside of it because I will wait on the day of my birthday to open it. The other side of me keeps telling me to open it and the "patient" side of me keeps telling me to wait until my birthday. Oh well, no matter what day I open my gifts, it is still my birthday gift! Thanks girl for the card and the gift!

I Got A New Phone

It feels like I am a kid at the candy store for owning a new cellphone. For almost a year now, I don't have a cellphone after I closed my contract at AT&T. I got the latest phone from BlackBerry. Just like my old BlackBerry Pearl when I first got here in the United States. I actually want an iPhone. Unfortunately, there's no AT&T coverage in North Dakota and I rather choose Verizon over AT&T when it comes to reliable voice and data network because it got the most and widest coverage all over United States. How cool is that? So I only get connections from a network that I can truly trust and will never fail my connection. I am just glad that I got a new phone under my name!

Anniversary Picture

Last September 8, my husband and I celebrated our second year wedding anniversary. It was my day-off from work and the feeling cannot be explain. I am going to celebrate it with my husband without thinking anything from work. Our friend Marvin and Joan watch the campground for us. The picture above was taken inside the HuHot Mongolian Grill. We were having cheesecake for our dessert and we headed to the mall t go shopping. It was really a wonderful day for us.

I Got It, I Got It!

Today, I am feeling ecstatic and cheerful! My eyes are dashing with this beautiful watch that my husband gave me as his gift for our second year wedding anniversary. It has been a long life dream of mine to own this kind of watch and my husband granted that dream. We have to order it online as we are both busy. I am busy working in the campground and my husband will not go to store unless I am with him.

It's Our Anniversary!

Today, my husband and I are celebrating our second year wedding anniversary. It has been two happy and fruitful years for us. Two years ago, we exchanged our vows and we said "I do". We got up this morning at 6:30 A.M. and headed to Winn's chiropractor for his acupuncture appointment and dental appointment. We got there on time.

After the acupuncture session and the dental appointment, we headed to Fargo - the largest city in North Dakota. We went to HuHot - Mongolian Grill to eat lunch and went shopping in the mall. We had a blast! It was full of fun all day especially that we are celebrating a happy marriage together. Thank you Lord for the happy memories and for blessing us.

Tomorrow, September 8, will be our second year wedding anniversary. Apparently, I will be working tomorrow (and still working) and Winn will have his acupuncture and dental appointment tomorrow morning. Needless to say, we are still working out on how we are going to celebrate our 2nd year wedding anniversary.

He asked me what gift I want on our anniversary. My man always ask me what I want before he could get anything for me. He prefers to know what I want rather than surprising me because he thought that I am not going to like it and end up changing what he already purchased. So I told him that all I need right now is a watch just like the picture above. So we'll see if he did get the watch I really want for our anniversary.

As for my anniversary gift to my husband this year, I got him a new black wallet. His wallet is torn and old but he still use it because he likes the genuine leather with lots of card slots. This time, and its about time to change the old one. I hope he will like what I got for him.

Finally, I signed up at PayPerPost V4. I have been receiving e-mails from them but I just can't find time to start the whole thing. Now, things are getting easy at work and I will be back to blogging very soon. I will catch up later.

S'mores

I ate five s'mores last night! When Winn and I was doing our usual rounds around the campground, we stopped by at our friends site. They're having a bonfire while drinking their sodas and beers. A s'more is a traditional campfire treat popular in the United States and Canada, consisting of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwich between two pieces of graham crackers. I just love this campfire treat!

Take Me To Bed

Last year, the husband and I were shopping for a comfortable bed that will put him to sleep. My husband got a back and shoulder problem. He needs a bed that will support his back and shoulders when he's sleeping. I thought shopping for a comfortable bed was easy. It's not! It took us hours and so many hours finding the right one. Summer 2009 - Update

It has been very busy summer for me. I have been working all day for 14 hours, 7 days a week. Just imagine all the hard work I had since I started working last April 15. The only thing that makes me happy - my husband's presence whenever I am working. He's always there to surprise me with little things and even cook our meal whenever I don't feel like cooking when I am tired.

I have met a lot of friends around our town since we moved here in North Dakota. It is just so nice that you meet new friends when you are new in town. I was invited to their kid's birthday party and even baby shower. It's a lot of fun and happy moments whenever you're with friends company.
