Work is Fun!

It is the last day of the month (August). I know for sure, there are people out there are starting to think for the coming month of September. Of course, I have been waiting for this special month too as we are celebrating our first wedding anniversary in a few days from now. We will not celebrate only our wedding anniversary, we will celebrate my birthday too. Yeah right, I was born in the month of September and I will turn another fruitful year.

So much for that, let's talk about my job. You see, It's almost the end of the month now and I received my two paychecks already. It was fun! I am back to the real corporate world and earning. It was like having my self worth and being self-reliant. After 1 year of being stuck at home, I am now enjoying the fruits of my labor little by little. I was able to make my mother and sister happy when they found out that I am not a bum anymore (laughs!). I can feel that my mother is so proud of me, not only to me, but to all her daughters who's making a way that is all good for our future. I just wish that my father who's now with God, will be proud and happy for all of us.

My French Toast!

Earlier today, I woke up with my eyes still sleepy and been yawning over and over. I felt like I am going to be lazy all day and not show up or be late for work today. My lazy butt strikes again and I have to do something every time I feel this way. So, I straighten up myself and started to prepare breakfast. I decided to make a French toast and an over-easy egg for me and my husband. I gathered all necessary ingredients I needed for my French toast...
  • 6-8 pieces of sliced bread
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 3 tablespoon condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
While doing my French toast, I turn my stove in a "high" fire for easy cooking that turned out a little bit burn on each side of the bread. All I thought I was making a perfect French toast and afraid that my husband - Winn will not even try for a bite. I was even scared as my crowning glory for being a good cook (well, just for my husband) in the kitchen will have to end so soon. So I lowered the fire and put another sliced of bread in a frying pan and this time, it turned out pretty good... for me! Fortunately, I still have the crown and we had a very nice and cozy breakfast together.

Stress Management

As I was reading some posts in Friendster Bulletin, I came across this wonderful message from ஜღErica ♥ Ching. Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:

* Accept that some days you're the pigeon,
and some days you're the statue.

* Always keep your words soft and sweet,
just in case you have to eat them.

* Always read stuff that will make you look good
if you die in the middle of it.

* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be
recalled by their maker.

* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again,
it was probably worth it.

* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply be kind to others.

* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time,
because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

* Nobody cares if you can't dance well.
Just get up and dance.

* Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

* The second mouse gets the cheese.

* When every thing's coming your way,
you're in the wrong lane.

* Birthdays are good for you.
The more you have, the longer you live.

* You may be only one person in the world,
but you may also be the world to one person.

* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

* We could learn a lot from crayons... Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

*A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Designer Lingerie Mania

Boudiche-image---la-perla-_

When I was in High School I have noticed a major change in my body. As I am growing up and entered my adolescence stage it takes more and more difference in myself. I was scared, anxious, uncomfortable and curious about the many changes I am experiencing. It was a great challenged for me while growing up. I have to say goodbye for all those cute clothes I am wearing when I was a kid and there's an additional underwear I have to wear to cover and protect what's growing in my chest. I have to admit that at first, I felt uneasy and distracted. I was thinking why I have to wear all those things? I am perfectly fine and can wear just about anything and not be conscious about it. But eventually, I was wrong! I have moved myself to the positive side of having a nice Lingerie to wear.

When I reached College, I was even fascinated by all the lingeries they are selling in the store. They are bold, sexy and daring. Some are nice and fashionable. There are lingeries which are pretty expensive and affordable, stylish and wonderful. Bunch of lingeries are pretty cool and comfortable to wear. Once, a friend of mine told me that we should wear nice and fashionable lingerie. I asked her why and she answered me back in a joke manner... because when you faint, and someone will come rescue you everybody will know that you are wearing nice and fashionable lingerie. It made me laugh. But that's not the only reason why I am fascinated with nice and fashionable lingeries. I find them so cute, the stylish designs, very fine and the material they use.

If you are looking for some fashionable lingeries, visit the website of Designer Lingerie from Boudiche. A company name Freya which makes Freya Lingerie that is great for the perfect fit for fashion, designer orientated, luxury stylish brand, not in any way a 'kinky' boutique or lingerie brand. They offers a lot in the store from designer lingerie, designer underwear, bra, knicker , French knicker and there's more than that. It is basically made out of Fayreform for comfortable fitting and wearing the lingerie. Growth in the plus cup size market and emergence of new brands in the D+ cup sizes or GG cup size, this is the website right for you. This is also good for women who have a hard time finding their right cup size. Boudiche will be glad to help regarding the cup sizes. And because it is made of Fayreform Lingerie, they all got the nicest designs and comes with colorful varieties where you can choose from. You will be delighted and thankful that finally Boudiche Lingerie is here.

Feeling Cold

Nope! I am not sad and alone. It is about the weather I am feeling right now. For 1 month and 8 days living here in North Dakota was a major change for me and my husband. I know it takes a lot of time to know the place, the neighborhood and the town. We live in a small town but the industry is prosperous as there are many job opportunities in some towns nearby. It is good to know that somehow, we live in a nice and peaceful place like the town where we live in. I guess, I am starting to like where we at now. The people are just nice and accommodating. I even got my job so quick after we moved and even lucky that I am getting the hang of it. Handling my job was just a piece of cake!

The month of August will end in 4 days from this date. Believe me, there are times that I am wearing my long sleeves and jacket when I go to work. The wind is blowing in some days that I feel I will get blown away. Hey, wait a minute! This is suppose to be the time of the summer. Why I feel so cold and the rain is keep on pouring for 2 days now and the past few days too? Is Fall time approaching? What about the Winter time? I guess I should be ready then so I will not feel cold and probably I will enjoy the winter time here in North Dakota. Things are getting better everyday and its time to celebrate life.

What Did I Miss?

I have been one of the earning bloggers so to speak for months now. Since I have the job now, I tend to passed all 4 opportunities with big offers because I just can't do it for a while. I wish I could! Aside from earning money in my new job, I can have an extra income from blogging but I just can't do it anymore while I am working for the season. I am enjoying my new job as a receptionist in a campground. I enjoy meeting different personalities, different faces, making friends from all over United States and Canada. I am happy to give them my service as well as let them enjoy their stay in the campground where I work.

I have 4 opportunities which I let them go and ignored. I know I let the opportunities passed around me as I can't manage to write a blog about them for a while. Maybe I will be back in blogging and catch some opportunities to keep on earning while I am on-leave from working for the season. Summer will be over soon and I will be back in Kentucky to spend our winter time. This time, I wish to meet the people I have met online, some good friends I really wanted to see in person. For now, let me enjoy the remaining summer time as I will be gathering some of my savings for winter time shopping! Yehey!

IMAK Smart Glove for Instant Relief

What is the meaning of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome? Some of us may not be aware of the problems and pains it may bring but there's a way of threating them for good relief. Carpel Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) or median neuropathy at the wrist is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, leading to pain, parathesias, and muscle weakness in the forearm and hand. A form of compressive neuropathy, CTS is more common in women than it is in men and has a peak incidence around age 42, though it can occur at any age. The lifetime risk for CTS is around 10% of the adult population. It is a multi-faceted problem and can therefore be challenging to treat. Still, there are a multitude of possible treatments: treating any possible underlying disease or condition, immobilizing braces, prioritizing hand activities, and ergonomics. Recent studies have shown that medications have not been able to modify the extent of the disease. Ultimately, carpal tunnel release surgery may be required in which outcomes are generally good.

Imak

My mother is a teacher in a public school teaching the Elementary students. She's been in the teaching service for 14 years. Every night she writes and prepares her lesson plan for her students. She even compute their individual grades and she also makes school report. She hardly get enough sleep as she write, type all the school reports every night. Imagine a school teacher job from Monday to Friday and she does extra work on weekends too plus she have to take care of us, her kids too everyday and do some household chores. She always uses her hands to do some work. Although we helped her doing the chores but still my mother work hard everyday doing anything. She felt the pain from her wrist and fingers from working and writing. Luckily, IMAK products provide that kind of help so she can continue to enjoy her active lifestyle as a mother, teacher and friend to all of us. So I checked the carpal tunnel relief website where you can choose variety orthopedic products that is a great tool to help her prevent repetitive stress injuries and to work in greater comfort at the office, school or at home so she could get that relief for her wrist. As one of the bloggers, I also recommend this to everyone for a greater comfort while blogging. So, grab one know and enjoy every bit of great relief while working or blogging.

What's With The Time?

As they may say, Time is Gold! Every second, minute and hour counts. Time is very important. Time is part of our everyday life. We may be punctual and late, still time revolves around no matter what time of the day. Time is very precious that we keep on chasing just to be on time. But no matter how early we are the clock is still ticking and will never stop running. When I was working back home as a call center agent, I have to wake up at around 4:30 in the morning. It was a way struggle for me waking up because I have the hard time waking myself up. I will give myself an allowance to sleep for another 5 minutes to get me going but it was just so hard that I have slept for like 30 minutes more and I knew I was already late when I took a bath like a duck, in a hurry and cramming.

As you all know, I got my very first job here in the United States and it was all different. I have to wake up around 6 o' clock in the morning because my job will start at around 7 o' clock in the morning. I have 1 hour time to prepare myself to go to work. I live near the place where I work so there's no time for driving that far. I can actually take a walk for a mile as a way of my exercise since I don't get one for a long time now. This time, although I still allow myself to get 5 minutes sleep, I know I will never be late and will always be on time. Thanks for my husband who will always be there to wake me up and remind me that TIME IS MONEY, because every hour that I am working... that is equivalent to a dollar that I will earn.

Learning a New Language

It has been 12 days now since I started working as a receptionist in a campground. I felt uneasy at first because for me, this is going to be a new learning experience, a new kind of job and a very challenging process for me. Everyday, I get to meet a lot of people. New faces, different cultures and different personalities. I have to deal with that! Besides, it is my job. I just go crazy in some areas that I have to deal with the teenagers and some young adults for the safety, security and silence preserved where I am working right now. While dealing with some people from the country of Canada, I have noticed that they not only speak the language of simple English but they do speak another language - the French. It was like a new music to me with different accent and language that I can't understand personally. It was hard. I felt like I am a tourist in a certain nation where I have to deal with my own language sign so they can understand me.

Basically, the languages I speak are Tagalog and English only. As I grew up, I have never learn any other languages to nourish my mind and tongue. It's purely Tagalog and English as part of my subjects in school from Elementary until I graduated in College. I also used them in finding a job and until I landed my first job. A French customer from Quebec, Canada came in and register for a campsite, she taught me some basic French. She said that French is a romantic language so I have to be careful delivering the words and message. Right now, I am looking for the possibilities of learning a new language. I want to learn French, German, Mandarin, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. I hope I will not procrastinate in learning a new language as I will be using it anywhere I go and in time that I am ready to travel big time someday. I know I can do it, I just need the ability to learn the accent, the pronunciation and how I will read it.

Lost For Words

It has been 9 days now since I started working as a receptionist. All I thought having the job would make it easier for me as I have 8 months experience being in the crowd as a call center agent back at home. I was wrong! I get to meet and talk to people, basically the Americans and Canadians personally and I have to deal with them face to face. My first day was totally busy than I have expected. It was also my first day at work as well as my training. I have to be alert all the time. Take calls, make reservations, register a customer and even do the financial statement. Luckily, I have few backgrounds in the subject of Accounting or else I am totally nothing in this kind of job. I am lost for words at times that I have to rephrase my sentence, words, and even correct my grammars in my mind so the people will have a better understanding when I am talking to them personally or simply just taking a phone call.

Here I am now, battling and struggling in the real corporate world. Learning the basics and starting from scratch again! I know in myself that I am not a dumb. It takes a while for me to learn. I know I am a fast learner. My mind can't absorb easily all the task that has been put to me in one day but I will do better until I can get the hang of it. I simply smile at my own mistakes. Nobody is perfect. For sure, a lot of people struggle too in their first day, first week, first month of the job but in time I will be fine. I will take it easy, one at a time, step by step because learning is a process. At the end of the day, I know everything will be paid off because I will earn my own salary came from my own sweat and hard work.

Where's My Walis Tambo?

Ok, I know I am trying to be a neat-freak here. But I hate using other brooms for cleaning and sweeping the floor except for the great help of "walis tambo" or "silhig lanot". Come on, who doesn't? Since I came here, I have been using the plastic broom, vacuum cleaner, wet rag to clean our house and I know I am going to need the help of walis tambo because it sweeps quick, makes the floor dust-spotless and I can see how much dirt and dust I have collected in just one sweep. I really need to have this kind of broom. I need this for my everyday cleaning and for sure I am going to enjoy a dust-spotless and carefree dwelling place.

In My Shoes

You Are Clogs

You are a solid and down to earth person.

You seek and almost always achieve a really sound balance in your life.

You are stylish yet comfortable. Mellow but driven. Excited yet calm.

You are the perfect mesh of contradictions.

No matter what happens, you have the ability to stay well grounded in your life.

People know that they can truly depend on you.

You should live: In Europe

You should work: At a company dedicated to helping the world

What Kind of Shoe Are You?

What kind of shoe are you? I took the quiz and the answer was I am a clog. But most of the time, I usually wear flip flops as I am comfortable with it. I can just go anywhere with a nice pair of flip flops no matter what the day will call for it. I am very particular in buying my own shoes. I want them to be stylish and simply makes my feet comfortable. It took me several days and months to find my own perfect pair of shoes. I have to really think hard if the shoes suits my personality or I can wear them all the time. It was like I wanted to get my money's worth I would spend in buying a new pair of good shoes. How about you?

7 Facts to Get to Know Me!

Not too long ago, my convincing power worked! I have convinced a busy mother to enjoy internet blogging. I have shared with her some of my experiences and now, she's tagging me! Thanks Ann Christine for the tag and I am sorry it took me so long to do it... You know that I have to make all my post in schedule to keep up with my "busy butt" and I need to get going and start to get a job!

Here’s the rules:

A. List these rules on your blog.

B. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.

C. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

You’ll have to read on for my 7 facts and see who I tagged.

1. I love to cook (I think, I have a passion for cooking but I just have a lazy butt!)

2. I am sweet and caring (I want the people know that. You will know when and you will feel I care for you because you are special to me)

3. I am a loving wife, daughter and sister (I may not tell you often how I love you but in my heart and mind... my love is deeply growing and aggressive )

4. I am super friendly (I may have this shy-type personality at first to approach somebody but once you get to know me, you will laugh at me and even share your own passion in life)

5. I am somewhat a religious person (I see to it, that I always visit the church every Sunday and hear the mass. It makes my day complete whenever I give my ample time to my own Savior)

6. I am always looking for the best fashion and trends (I don't want to get outdated with the fads so I keep myself into the best style I could ever have. My favorite things to shop are purses, shoes and nice tops)

7. I love watching movies and anything on TV (Its one way to fill my emptiness when I am alone, in deep thoughts or just about I feel bored. I can watch about 5-7 movies a day.

I Believe!

This is great! I got this message from my former high school classmate and friend - Hazelyn who resides now in San Diego, California. She e-mailed this message to me and I am deeply touched. Let me pass this message to all of you so you can forward it also to your friends and let them know how great life is. Have fun!

I believe - A birth certificate shows that we were born; a death certificate shows that we died; pictures show that we lived!

Have a seat . . . Relax! And read this slowly. . .

I believe - That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.
I believe - That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change. I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I believe - That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I believe - That you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I believe - That you can keep going long after you think you can't.
I believe - That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I believe - That heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I believe - That money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I believe - That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I believe - That no matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I believe - That our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I believe - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.
I believe - That even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.
I believe - That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I believe - That the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.
I believe - That you should send this to all of the people that you believe in.

I just did!

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything they have.

How Addicted to Blogging Are You?

77%How Addicted to Blogging Are You?

Created by OnePlusYou - Online Dating

Wow! Out of 100%, I got 77% that I am addicted to Blogging! How cool is that? I started blogging since May 1, 2008. My score wasn't bad at all, the remaining 23% is the percentage of the other things I do everyday such as be with my husband, sleep, watch TV and eat. I can say that I have learned a lot from blogging and will learn more about it. I am making a way to ease my boredom since I don't have a job where I get my butt busy doing something. I write and share my thoughts, my feelings, experiences and typically blogging will serve as my comfort zone where I can write anything, everything.

Contrary to my score above, my husband said that it is not right at all. He protested about my 77% score. I should get more than that. He thinks that my score should be 99% as blogging became my addictive hobby since I started writing. He knows better than that! When I wake up in the morning, my face is stuck in-front of the computer and doing my thing - to blog! After I cook, eat, do the dishes, do the laundry, I basically rush into my computer chair and start to blog. The hanging flowers we bought was actually dead now since I always forget to water them. You see, he's 99% sure that I am addicted to blogging. Whew!

Instant Hair Makeover

How do you want your hair fixed? A little bit of wavy, completely straight, short or curly? What type of color you wanted for your hair? Red? Black? Brown? Blond? Blue? Whatever you want for your hairstyle, do it! As long as you are comfortable and you look great on it. There's no problem. It was a hot summer here today and I felt like I am burning and sweating a lot. I took a bath twice today already but it seems nothing beats the hot summer. I took a lot of orange juice and water so to keep from dehydration. Luckily, I have something to play on to ease my boredom. I went to visit the website of magazine Instyle.com.

I went over their trend topics, the buzz on celebrities, some fashion tips and beauty tips. I got an instant hair makeover! It was just so easy, I am using one hand to finish my hair makeover. I would say, this is the hair makeover of a "short" time as I don't look great with colored hair. I guess, I just have to stick with my long black hair and remain having a straight hair. Let me know what you think about my new hair-do. If you want to have your own style about the Hollywood hair makeover, just visit their website HERE.

Of Being Good Friends...

Last Tuesday night (central time - USA), I had the chance to talk to my one of a kind friend. He's been my classmate and good friend since we were in High School. Pretty much, we enjoyed the same thing. We talk and share opinions together. We love to eat, watch movies and just hang out around anywhere. Just a quick note: We Are Not Lovers! We just have this platonic love for each other for 13 years now and counting. He has been there for me all the time when I feel like I wanted to give up on something. He supports my opinion towards the things and we have been partners-in-crime every time we wanted to do such crazy things.

Just recently, he wrote a blog A keepsake you call MEMORIES.... I was deeply touched! I have thought all of our happenings being together while both were still struggling in a university and we're classmates for the second time in College. It was so cool! A good friend and classmate all packed as one. I can't complain much because it was like I have found a best buddy that I can turn to and get some help when I needed something. I miss his company. Now that we are miles apart, the only thing we communicate is through chatting. We may have our own lives now but our wonderful friendship will always remain. I am sure that someday we will see each other and just hang around and be happy reminiscing the past as we always do that when we're together.

I Got A Job!

After months of being a professional bum, I finally got a job that would make me busy and occupy my mind doing some real job in a corporate world. I got what I want just in time that I needed to find my self-worth. My job will cater entirely to the people who enjoys camping. I would mainly handle the cash register, telephone operator, make reservations and does a little errand too. It was really hard at first. I was dependent on my husband since I got here. I was thinking what are the possible jobs I could get being a part-time worker as I still want to fulfill my obligations as a wife and a lover. Besides, it's not really for myself at all. I have my mother and sisters who needed a little of support especially when they need something for emergency cases or extra-curricular activities that they wanted to enjoy. I wanted to give that to them because I wanted to see smiles from them. I wanted to make them happy in my own little way.
