Back home, I love watching beauty pageant. It started when I was in 3rd grade. I watched how Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutierrez crowned as the 2nd Princess for Miss World in 1993 and so on. Last night, the husband and I watched Miss America 2009, the 84th pageant was held at the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. Hosted by Mario Lopez from the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.

Miss North Dakota, a contestant in the Miss America 2009
We both shared our comments about the contestants on how they handle themselves on stage, the way they walk and talk. I didn't know that my husband will support me watching the beauty pageant as he loves watching western movies. We finished it until the end.

girl lahat sila magaganda haaay if I was one of the judge I might have difficulty of choosing who would get the crown.
I love watching pageant shows too! And I don't think my bf would mind watching it with me.. lol!
Miss Indiana was already my bet, because in every competition they had she's always doing something good! :) Congratulations to all of them!

Hi haze...from the competition they had few weeks ago and I saw Miss Indiana handled the question and answer portion she was great. She was my bet and glad she won. She deserves the crown coz smart jud sya...
I didnt watch the entire show but I had recorded it so I can watch it alone. eheheh..I was hooked up yesterday watching the whole Rocky movies series until midnight. eheheh!

Nah ako pod Haze,basta beauty pageant grabeh kaayo ko makatan-aw tong na-a sa Pinas pako kay Mapa Binibini,to Miss U,Miss World and International sus atang dayon sa TV.Sge ko browse ana nalang sa ila website for the candidates.
Dri nalang sa France wala ko nakatan-aw,usahay sa internet nlang kay dili man kaayo na sila fan ana dri uy kalagot pati pod ako bana,dili nahan tan-aw.
Hazel, i really missed watching this...we were traveling at the time this was aired...anyway, my hubby watched beauty pageant and his fave part is the swimsuit attire LOL

Hello Amor! mao lagi oi, as what I have heard, some countries are not fond of watching beauty pageant. My husband is not fond of it though he supported me watching it... he makes a comment every time a candidate is on stage hehehe

No Haze, guys like to watch those kind of shows too bec girls are wearing bikini..hahaha.. sometimes they say they're not interested but oftentimes, they take a peek too in the internet if it is in the news na..
