Daylight Saving Time: Why Did We Do It?

Changing time wasn't new to me at all. I got to experienced change of time at work when I was working back at home as a call center agent. We always follow the different timezones covering the whole United States and all over Canada as they are our 100% clients.

At 2:00 a.m. local on Sunday, most of the United States (except Hawaii and Arizona) will leave daylight saving time behind and fall back an hour to standard time. The annoyance of resetting clocks (or forgetting to, and showing up an hour early for appointments on Sunday) may raise the question of why we bother with this rigmarole in the first place.

Daylight saving time is most often associated with the oh-so-sweet extra hour of sleep in fall (and the not-so-nice loss of an hour in spring), but some of the original reasons for resetting our clocks twice a year including saving energy and having more daylight hours for retailers, sporting events and other activities that benefit from a longer day. although we were able to save an extra hour of sleep, i didn't like it coz it's already bright when TS' alarm would alarm.

i lost the "misa de gallo" feeling.

hehehe, same here Jacy! the moment I woke up last Sunday it felt like it wasn't the usual of my wake up time. It is just weird doing it. I wish the time will remain just the way it is, no changing time, no turning clock backwards

I miss the 'misa de gallo' too Jacy. I always do that back home, but now, there's nothing like that here
